HORSESHOE CANYON RANCH
RULES & REGULATIONS

Thanks for climbing at Horseshoe Canyon.  There is a reason behind these rules. You will be responsible for keeping them whether you have read them or not.  This helps us to continue sharing the ranch with people who love to climb and helps us keep our fees at an affordable rate. Climbing here is a privilege and we reserve the right to regulate who climbs and who does not.  Please be safe and respectful of others. Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is private property - remember this is our backyard.

All guests must check-in at the HCR Trading Company. You must register when you FIRST arrive - not when you are done climbing. Pay before you play! Day Use Fee: $5 per day per person (climbers, hikers, nonclimbers, walking around...etc)

Everyone must sign a waiver (this includes non-climbers as well).  If you do not sign in and sign a waiver you are trespassing.

Camp in designated sites - there is
no camping on the East side of the canyon.

Use only designated roads and parking areas.  Do not drive on grass.

TRASH - Pack out what you pack in - no public dumpsters are available.

No glass containers of any kind are allowed.

As of Jan. 1, 2010 dogs will no longer be allowed at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. (with the exception of ranch dogs)

Pets are not allowed in the cabins. A $100 fine (each pet) will be charged per occurrence if pets are in cabins.

No smoking in cabins, barn or tee-pee.

Please do not feed any of the livestock (goats, horses, cows...etc).

Please do not chase or catch the livestock.

Please do not feed or pet the goat dogs.

Do not build fire rings of any kind on the ranch - this includes at climbing areas. Only use fire rings provided at the camp sites.

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch Lodge does not have public restrooms - please use "out-houses" or restroom at the Trading Company.  Water is available at the HCR Trading Company.

Lodge amenities are for cabin rental and ranch guests only (i.e. pool, computers, hot tube....etc)
